The doctoral training hub
RAPSODEE features a doctoral training hub composed of:
- Fabienne ESPITALIER, Director of the training and research center
- Rachel CALVET, head of doctoral training
- Nathalie LYCZKO, correspondent for the MEGeP doctoral school
This hub accompanies PhD students throughout their doctoral training, and prepares PhD seminars, in collaboration with two doctoral students who run them. The hub organizes a kick-off meeting for new PhD students and regular get-togethers to discuss topics of interest. It works closely with the Research Director and PhD students’ office at IMT Mines Albi, as well as with the Doctoral School (ED) and the Toulouse Doctoral School (EDT - Ecole des Docteurs de Toulouse).
Most of the PhD students enrolled at IMT Mines Albi are affiliated to the Doctoral School of Mechanics, Energetics, Civil Engineering & Processes (ED MEGeP). The Doctoral School is the structure that organizes the doctoral programme in collaboration with the institutions the students are enrolled at and the research laboratories that host them. Together, they provide individual support to PhD students during their thesis and help them prepare for their professional integration.
